Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. Who you are dealing with
Ever After Vibes is operated by Ever After Books LTD, company number 15169491, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 144 Market Street, Dalton-in-Furness, LA15 8RQ, United Kingdom. Contact: lia@everafterbooks.uk. By creating an account or using Ever After Vibes you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Ever After Vibes is a streaming service and store for original, book-inspired music, plus podcasts, public-domain audiobook readings, and the Vibe Journal. The free tier includes ad-supported listening and 30-second previews of unowned tracks. Paid options are:
- Premium (£4.99/month): ad-free, full-length streaming of the library.
- Vibe Journal (£4.99/month): turn journal entries into generated songs.
- Journal + Ad-Free bundle (£7.99/month): both of the above.
- Purchases: buy a song (typically £1.29) or an album (typically £9.99) outright.
Prices include VAT where applicable and are shown before you pay.
3. Accounts
You need an account to buy, subscribe, or build soundtracks. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 to use the service, and at least 18 (or have a parent's permission) to make purchases.
4. Purchases: what you get
Buying a song or album grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to stream it, and download it where the feature is offered, for personal, non-commercial use for as long as the service operates. It is not a transfer of copyright and does not permit re-sale, re-distribution, synchronisation, or public performance. Ownership is recorded against your account server-side.
5. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies.
6. Your 14-day cancellation right
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason. For Ever After Vibes that works as follows:
- Digital content (songs and albums). Because content is supplied immediately, at checkout we ask for your express consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgement that you lose the 14-day cancellation right once streaming or download begins. If you do not consent, do not complete the purchase.
- Subscriptions (Premium, Vibe Journal, bundle). The service starts immediately with your express request. You can still cancel within 14 days for a refund, minus an amount for the service already provided up to the point you told us you wanted to cancel.
To cancel within the 14-day period, email lia@everafterbooks.uk with the email address on your account and what you bought.
7. Faulty content: your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If content is faulty you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, if we cannot fix it, some or all of your money back. These statutory rights are not affected by the waiver in section 6.
8. Creator content
Music, audiobooks, and podcasts from independent creators appear on the service under the Creator Agreement, which requires creators to own or control everything they upload and to stand behind it. Creators earn 70% of net revenue on sales of their work. If you believe content on Ever After Vibes infringes your rights, email lia@everafterbooks.uk with details and we will investigate and, where appropriate, remove it.
9. Acceptable use
Do not rip, scrape, re-distribute, or circumvent playback protections; do not upload content you do not own; do not use the service to harass others or break the law. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change or withdraw features; if we permanently withdraw content you have bought and cannot offer a reasonable replacement, we will offer a fair remedy, which may include a refund of what you paid for that content.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, and our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. These terms may be updated; continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
